OR is it?
Today we are going to talk about a site called CashCrate.com where they promise you can “get paid by completing surveys and other offers.” I’ve seen these types of offers come across my email inbox for years and I’ve always thought these are a total waste of time and a just a big scam…but this one got my attention.
I visited the website and started looking around. I found that I could “Complete a Cruise Survey” and get .50 cents, fill out a sweepstakes to win a iPad and make .75 cents, and complete some gas card giveaway and make .25 cents. Awesome! I’m up to $1.50.
Well, what a beating…we are getting no where.
So, then I started doing some hunting. Turns out people are making money on this site and I’m not talking about loose change. I did find some offers where you can make some bigger money like “signup for Directv and get $100″! I guess if you are going to do that anyway you should at least get paid.
So, is it a scam? Looks like it isn’t at all. If you have some time to kill ( maybe in the evenings you night-owls ) and you want to make an extra $75 – $150 a month with a minimal investment of time, then maybe you should check it out. I did a quick test and made a quick $14.75 in about 10 minutes. That is a far cry from this dude ( $187 bucks in 1 month in case you can’t read the check):

If you do decide to try this let me recommend that you create a FREE YAHOO.com or GMAIL.com email account so you don’t completely SPAM-OUT your work or personal email address. Then use that yahoo or gmail email account when you complete your offers.
Go to CashCrate.com and get signed up and let me know in the comments if you make any “REAL” money. I guess in this economy every little bit helps right?
